Question: It seems like the veins in my breasts and stomach have become more noticeable since I got pregnant. Why?

According to What to Expect When You’re Expecting, your veins expand when you are pregnant to carry the increased blood supply needed to nourish your baby. Women who are light-skinned or thin may notice this more than dark-skin or overweight women.

They should return to normal after you have your baby, although if you are breastfeeding they will remain on your breasts until you wean your baby.
