Cup runneth over and more: bra issues solved
August 23, 2007

As your pregnancy progresses, you belly won’t be the only part of your body that gets bigger. Your breasts also increase about one cup size (or more!) requiring a comfortable and supportive maternity bra (pictured, Bella Materna nursing bra from Blossom Maternity).
Have you purchased a maternity bra only to find it not fitting correctly? Here are some common fit issues and how to fix them.
You need a larger cup size if: you fall out of the top or the bottom of your bra, the straps are too tight or the front of your bra sticks out instead of staying flat against your body.
Quick fix: Loosen the straps, however if the problem remains go up a cup size.
You need a smaller cup size if: your bra gapes open or the straps are constantly falling down.
Quick fix: Tighten the straps, however if the problem remains go up a cup size.
