Starting to show? What to wear
August 9, 2008
It is finally happening! Your baby bump is starting to show, but now comes the hard part – what do you wear? Fret not, pretty mama. Follow my advice for dressing your newly pregnant bod.
You may be tempted to go out and buy a car-full of empire waist tops. Sure, you will need a few – but don’t forget the always-flattering form-fitting tops. Look for details like side-shirring or ruching to flatter your growing body.
Do you feel like you are too big for your non-maternity jeans and pants, but too small for maternity, paneled jeans? If leaving the top button of your jeans is not an option, consider wearing a Bella Band, a stretchy band of material that goes on top of your jeans.
A date night or special occasion is the perfect time to flaunt your growing bump. Look for details like ties and wraps to showcase your mom-to-be status. Pictured is the Cap Wrap Dress from IsabellaOliver.com.

I really love this dress, it’s verstile and can be used after the baby is morn. Ya! show more maternity clothes that are not old fashioned…
