No pregnancy glow? Fake it!
July 17, 2007
Have the sleepless nights and constant morning sickness left you lacking that pregnancy glow? Pregnancy causes increased blood flow which results in that beautiful glowing, rosy-cheeked appearance, however hormones can also cause acne and blotchiness. Try these make-up tips for a fresh-faced look.

Apply concealer (one shade lighter than your foundation) to hide those undereye circles and to camouflage any acne or spots. Next, smooth on a tinted moisturizer or an oil-free foundation (depending on your skin type) to help even out your skin. Brush on a bronzer to areas where the sun would normally hit your face (forehead, nose and cheeks) to give you a sun-kissed look. I like Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder ($32) because it gives your a natural-looking tan, not the orange color some bronzers give you.
Draw the focus to your eyes by curling your lashes and gliding on a lengthening mascara. Finish off your look by wearing a sheer lip gloss that compliments your skin tone.
When applying your make up think natural and fresh.
