Nicole Richie’s maternity line at A Pea in the Pod
August 5, 2009
We here at Pregnancy Fashion have long admired Nicole Richie’s boho-chic maternity style, and it seemed only a matter of time before she created her own line of clothes. The stylish mom-to-be has paired up with A Pea in the Pod to design and model their line of maternity clothes called Nicole.

Available for purchase August 7th, Nicole’s line will consist of maxi dresses, peasant tops and layering tees ranging from $48 – $148.
“Pea in the Pod is such a known company for pregnant women. They carry great lines, and so when they asked me to create a line for them, I was really excited and eager to do it,” Richie told People magazine.
Richie had a 19-month-old daughter named Harlow with her boyfriend Joel Madden and is expecting her second child this fall. “I think the pregnant body is beautiful, and I think you should show it off,” she says.
What inspired her current line? “You really feel like you have to change your whole wardrobe, and that’s the last thing a woman wants to go through. So I really tried to make this line to get women excited about wearing clothes.”

Got something to say?

That’s good news as I love Nicole Richie’s style unfortunately the closest thing I could find had more of a Gothic feel to it than boho and was not my taste.
of course I will try it out. If anything because of the prices. Pea in the Pod is expensive for just some very plain or ugly styles (cap sleeve polka dots anyone?). Can’t wait to see it!
