As a new-mom, you will find those leisurely 20-minute showers and high-maintenance hair styles may very well be a thing of the past. Here are some tips that make getting yourself (and your baby!) ready and out the door a little easier.

  • Unless your hair is really dry, skip a step by using 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner products. You could use a weekly deep conditioner if your hair starts looking dry.

  • Why slather on a separate face moisturizer and self-tanner when there are plenty of products that already contain both? Look for formulas specifically made for faces because the body lotions will be to strong for your delicate facial skin. A good one to try is Olay Complete Touch of Sun Daily UV Facial Moisturizer.
  • Instead of wasting your time on a blow-out to straighten your hair, go for a natural beachy look by putting in a frizz-fighting gel and letting your hair dry naturally.
  • Put the iron away! Spray on a wrinkle-releasing spray, shake your clothes out and you are ready to go!
  • Paint your nails in neutral colors so you can go longer between touch-ups without paint chips showing.

    Got something to say?
