Time to sharpen up your placenta brain—it is time for Maternity Fashion 101! When shopping for pants, you will hear the following terms when describing fit: Underbelly or no panel, fold over panel, mid-belly panel and full panel.
A full panel fit consists of stretchy material that is worn slightly above your belly button. Many women like the support a full panel provides and you don’t have to worry about your pants slipping down.
When wearing a form-fitting top, a full panel can sometimes show through. Some women also complain that a full panel can be hot or itchy.
