Maternity fashion: Best colors to wear during pregnancy
August 3, 2012
What colors should you wear to bring out your pregnancy glow? Let’s start by looking at your skin tone.
“Every woman has a set of ‘True Colors,’ which are those found in her eyes, hair and skin tones. Colors that flatter an individual gives her a healthy glow,” explains David Zyla, author of The Color Style.
What are some great colors to have in your maternity wardrobe? “A great color to invest in which can be used in a variety of formal and informal ways during pregnancy is a dark neutral,” says Zyla.
“Though there is an abundance of it in maternity fashions, don’t automatically reach for black. If you normally wear and look great in it, then do so. If not, look in your make-up bag and consider employing the color of your favorite eyeliner,” he says.
