How to keep clothes fresh in storage
September 15, 2007

Don’t you hate that musty smell your clothes seem to have when pulling them out of storage? As you pack away your non-maternity or summer clothes, try this tip for fresh smelling clothes.
Keep the silica gel packets that are packaged with new shoes, purses or electronics. According to First magazine, they contain drying agents that absorb the moisture that gives your clothes that musty smell. Pack a couple of these packets with your clothes in an airtight container and you will have fresh smelling clothes for up to a year.
