Modern Mom recently spoke to top maternity fashion designer Stephanie Boye of Chiarakruza on what holiday looks are hip this season.
“Purple is the new black this holiday season,” Boye says. “Look for wrap dresses, empire waists, sexy fitted tops and straight-leg trousers—they’ll keep you fashionable and sexy this holiday season.”
How can you look fabulous without breaking the bank? “The key is to mix and match daytime looks with dressier evening pieces, that way you won’t be spending a fortune on clothes you’ll only wear a few times,” Boye says. “Our Maeve Tunic, Netalie turtleneck and Liv Top can all be paired with the Stephanie Pant in a brown stripe or our Sexy Jeans during the day. Add some accessories and dressier shoes to instantly transform your day look to an evening look. All it takes is for you to find a few favorite pieces this season and you can create an entire wardrobe by mixing it up.”
