Lipstick Jungle stylish Amanda Ross shared her tips on looking stylish at work – for less.
Ross tells InStyle magazine that buying high-quality fabrics are important. “Anything made of cotton is a good bet. It feels nice against your skin and rarely appears cheap.”
She recommends stocking up on cardigans for a look that only looks expensive. “Every woman needs a wardrobe of cardigans. Stock up on classic colors — navy, gray, chocolate brown and eggplant — which always seem rich, no matter what their price point.” Pictured is the Olian Maternity ‘Kora’ Crewneck Cardigan (on sale for $38) from Nordstrom.
Finally, black and/or gray pants are every working mom and mom-to-be’s best friend. “Put with your favorite designer top, and who’s to know the difference?”
