Simpson pairs a long black skirt with a black top, striped cardigan and accessorizes with a black beret and black fringed purse. I would call this look funky meets bohomian meets bag lady.
Ashlee’s funky travel look is not for everyone, but what should moms-to-be wear when traveling? Comfort is definitely a top priority, but you also want to look good — which means you feel good, right? Ashlee does have one thing right– a long skirt is a great choice for travel. Look for a long skirt (mini skirts are a big travel no-no) with a stretchy waistband that leaves plenty of wiggle room.
Layering is another good idea. Whether you are traveling by train, plain or car, pregnancy hormones can make you go from cold to hot in a couple of seconds time so layering a jacket over a tank top is always a good choice. What should you avoid when traveling? Anything that is constricting when you sit — tight jeans or pants or too-short skirts or shorts are at the top of my list.
