Whether you aren’t quite ready to share your pregnancy news or are just tired of people rubbing your belly, check out these five tricks to hide your baby bump.

When will you start to show? Find out here >>>

Celebrities are pros at hiding their pregnancy to avoid the dreaded “baby bump watch” reports in the tabloids. Jessica Simpson has already announced she is pregnant, however back before she was ready to spread the news she kept her bump covered in the pictured black poncho. Pair a poncho with black skinny jeans to further camouflage the fact that you are expecting.

Simpson is also carrying a patterned, eye-catching bag, which is another trick to hide a pregnancy. Carrying a large bag not only physically conceals your baby bump, but it draws the away from your belly and to your amazing bag. In case you needed an excuse to splurge on a fabulous new purse, there it is!

Another bump-hiding trick involves wearing a flowing tunic top with a ruffled or embellished neckline to draw the eye up to your face and away from your belly. You can also wear an eye-catching necklace, however make sure it is a shorter necklace and not a long necklace that will draw attention to your belly.

Layering is another way to hide a pregnancy when you are not quite ready to tell. Layer a cardigan or jacket over a loose, patterned blouse and pair with jeans for a chic look that conceals your bump. You can also layer a sweater jacket over a maxi dress for a look that hides your secret.

Lastly, a colorful scarf that is knotted around your neck and hangs past your waist is a great way to hide your baby bump. Pair it with a jacket and dark top for a great winter look – that also hides your baby bump!
