Soleil Moon Frye opens children’s boutique
October 9, 2007

Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye, who recently announced she is pregnant with her second child, has opened an eco-friendly children’s store called The Little Seed.
Located in Los Angeles, the store carries sustainable furniture from Kalon Studios, organic toys from Zid Zid and non-toxic paints and crayons from Stockmeyer, reports People.
“It’s an opportunity to make the planet a little greener,” Frye says. “I haven’t slept at all these last few months. It’s probably a combination of pregnancy and opening this store. It’s so exciting.”
Frye opened the store after having difficulty finding safe toys for her daughter, 2-year-old Poet. “I had such a hard time finding great organic and non-toxic items for my daughter. I wanted to create a place where parents can come and find products that are safe for their children, as well as good for the planet.”
I don’t know about you, but I feel like an underachiever! I was applauding myself for switching out a couple of light bulbs to the “eco-friendly” bulbs, and she opens up an entire store!
If anyone is in the LA area, you will have to check it out and let me know what you think about The Little Seed.
