Minnie Driver discusses nursery design
July 17, 2008
“Because of work I’ll need a nanny, but I intend to be a hands-on mommy. I have two houses, so I’ve readied two rooms. Not pink or blue, because I don’t know if it’s a boy or girl, so I’ve just made them neutral and peaceful. Being traditional, if it’s a boy I’ll name him Thomas. A girl, Isabel . . . I just want to stay healthy.”
-Actress Minnie Driver, due next month with her first child, as told to the New York Post
If you are planning a delivery surprise like Driver, decorating a nursery does not have to be a challenge. Colors like green, yellow and tan make for a beautiful, soft nursery.
Another option is to decorate the nursery in tan and white, adding appropriate accent colors after the birth of your child.
