Kourtney Kardashian shares maternity fashion tips

From her gorgeous colorful maxi dresses to her trendy tuxedo top, Kourtney Kardashian always looked stylish and pulled together throughout her pregnancy. Even though she has since given birth to daughter Penelope Scotland, Kourtney shared on her Mommy Blog her tips for looking fashionable throughout your pregnancy.
Kourtney says her motto during pregnancy was to be “comfortable, but stylish.” She said in her early pregnancy, she would wear loose tops with her own jeans – however she would do the rubber band trick.
“In the beginning I would wear my own jeans and I would do the rubber band trick where you take a rubber band and put it though the jean hole and loop it around to the button,” she says. This allows you to unbutton your top button to allow more room for your belly, without your jeans falling down. You can also use the Bella Band to do something similar.
“I’m not into maternity clothes,” says Kourtney, who said she often just bought normal clothes in larger sizes. “I do wear loose tops with leggings. For the most part it is all about dresses. Especially during the end when you start to retain water. I’m all about longer dresses — Whatever will cover you the most. “

As far as pregnancy fashion don’ts, Kourtney says it is about “knowing your body.”
“I do love fashion and like taking risks, but when you are pregnant it is better to keep it simple,” she suggests. “Have more fun with a bright colored lip, fun earrings, bangles, a great bag or cool flats. “
One key part of looking stylish throughout your pregnancy is finding your pregnancy uniform. “Last time I was pregnant … it was winter,” says Kourtney, who described her typical outfit as “leggings, flat boots and a big shirt and that was my uniform. “
This pregnancy, she was in her third trimester during the summer, and explains her summer pregnancy uniform is “all about maxi dresses.”
