“I’ve never felt so bad. I literally used to go green and have hot flashes. In fact a policeman said I might have had a heavy night when I was being sick in the street.”
British TV personality Myleene Klass

It is hard to feel like a stylish mama when you are battling with morning sickness. Luckily, most women find that the vomiting and queasiness will subside once you hit your second trimester.

Try these tips to ward off morning sickness:
1. Eat small and frequent meals throughout the day.
2. Try aromatherapy: Some women find the smell of lemon or ginger wards off nausea. Click here for more information on soothing scents for nausea and fatigue.
3. Acupressure: Simply wearing a seasickness wrist band can sometimes do the trick.
4. Avoid wearing heavy perfumes, or being around foods with strong aromas.
5. Rest: Fatigue can sometimes make the symptoms worse so try to rest when you can. It might be worth it to enlist help for cooking and cleaning during this time.
