Brooke Burke reveals post-pregnancy secret
December 8, 2007

Brooke Burke, now pregnant with her 4th child, bounced back so quickly after having her children that it left many women wondering how she did it. I’m sure good genes (and a kick-butt trainer) had a little to do with it, but Burke swears by a post-pregnancy belly wrap. She believes in them so much that she has designed her own line of post-pregnancy wraps called Tauts.
Tauts wrap around your belly, much like a girdle, and are to be worn for forty days after a natural delivery.
Why do they work? Brooke explains: “It is believed that a belly wrap reduces the size of the swollen uterus, reduces water retention in the belly, and helps you lose inches fast, all while supporting that unwanted baggy baby skin!”
She warns that this product is not to be worn during pregnancy or after a C-section. Tauts are available in Black and White lace and plain with prices starting at $56.
Tauts are available online at Babooshbaby.com. Caution: you may get slightly nauseous at the multiple pictures of her perfectly flat belly!

WHY DOES BROOKE BURKES WEBSITE NOT WORK..
WHERE TO FIND THE BELLY RAPS
The site wont show anything! I am very interested in purchasing a “taut”. Could you please help?
Brooke’s site, babooshbaby.com, may have been down yesterday (December 20th). I just tried it today and it seemed to be working. Click on “Store” and you will be able to purchase a Taut directly from her site. Unfortunately, she does not sell them anywhere else but at her website. I am searching out other alternatives for post-partum belly wraps for more options. Let me know if you were able to order!

Have you ever used hipslimmer (available at http://www.hipslimmer.com)? It is a post-pregnancy hip compression corset designed to reduce one your hips after you deliver. My friends have tried it and swear it worked wonders.
I have tried hipslimmer and it worked wonders! The taut seems like a good idea too.
Macy’s has belly wraps …. they work well
I don’t quite understand why people will invest much money in this product, though it is a great invention. The more traditional approach would be wrapping your stomach in plastic wrap and wrapping a cheap $5-$10 belt over to increase the effects of sweating and weight loss in addition to moving around, attending to the gym and such. Simply putting this on will not emit a miracle body though everyone is always looking for a quick fix.
За статью спасибочки, все по делу, достаточно много кто это уже использует
i brooke i love your website please how to get wrap a roung called tauts thank you ellie form boston
I just had a baby a week ago and have been using a belly wrap called the Belly Bandit. I just googled it and bought it online. I researched a few different wraps and the Belly Bandit had the best reviews. Sorry Brooke! I tried to get her product but it was too hard.
Hey guys,
Although I’m sure these taut stomach wrap are effective, as mentioned beforehand, spending this much money for them is unnecessary. What I have always done is use plastic saran wrap. It is very effective after pregnancy. I also purchased a sweat belt from walmart for $5-$10. On the contrary to crystal above, I would not recommend layering both items over your stomach. It can actually be very dangerous due to the risk of over heating and could possibly lead to heat exhaustion, passing out, and even a heat stroke in some cases. You can research plastic wraps and read others stories about having these side effects. However, either method can be completely safe if monitored correctly. It is normal to feel uncomfortable and hot after applying the wrap, but if you feel any dizziness or difficulty breathing then you should remove the wrap and drink cool liquids to cool your body down. I would recommend wearing the wrap during sleep or at times when little physical activity will be done. It is true that you will sweat more water weight out if you wear it while you are active, however as I mentioned beforehand this will highly increase the risk of overheating. Also, another tip for you ladies to research would be using Preparation H under the plastic wrap. I am not sure if this works because I have not actually tried it, but I have read online from others who have tried it , and some say it works. I think it is more of a temporary fix though. It is suppose to constrict the cells in your skin, therefore giving off the appearance that your skin is tighter. I do know that models use this for wrinkles and bags under their eyes before a photo shoot. But hey, if it works for you then that’s great, if not at least you gave it a try! I hope this helps you new mommies on a budget. Good luck!
