Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Christmas Rock Classics is for all those rock-n-roll mamas who are looking for a funky twist on some Christmas classics. This CD contains lullaby versions of Christmas rock classics from icons like John Lennon, Pearl Jam, The Killers, Smashing Pumpkins and No Doubt.
Instead of guitars and drums, Rockabye Baby! has mellowed out your favorite Christmas classics by using instruments like the glockenspiel, vibraphone and mellotron. This CD is great “chill music” for putting your baby to sleep or to have as background music during the holiday festivities. I love the mellow vibes of the special rendition of the Ramone’s “Merry Christmas” and Blink 182’s “I Won’t be Home for Christmas.”
