Salma Hayek’s daughter Valentina will be sleeping in this Batiste Bassinette by Lulla Smith ($800 at Petit Tresor).
This bassinette is made of Swiss imported Pima Cotton satin Batiste and includes a 2 inch mattress with a fitted sheet and decorative pillow. This piece will be custom-made for your baby (and at that price, it better be!).
Did you use a bassinette for your newborn? I think you can easily do without a bassinette and buy a more practical (and less expensive) pack-and-play or co-sleeper. Most babies will only be in a bassinette in your room for the first 2-4 months before moving to a crib.
