Brotherhood actress Annabeth Gish reveals to thecradle.com some of her pregnancy and new-mom necessities. The Mystic Pizza actress and her husband, martial arts expert Wade Allen, are parents to 1-year-old old Cash Alexander Allen.
Gish said she looked forward to being able to use a sling or baby carrier to hold her baby. “What I always loved seeing was mothers with their slings and the Baby Bjorn – the carrying things. I really like the Maya, the Moby, and the New Native. I like the Maya the best,” she says.
The new-mom says that her breast pump has been her favorite gift, and she is still searching for the right diaper bag. “The pump has been pretty crucial. I will say that I got a lot of diaper bags for gifts, but I still haven’t found the right one. I can’t seem to find the perfect bag.”
What about her favorite maternity clothes? “Lucky jeans, their non-maternity jeans, was what I lived in. They’ve got a stretch to them. And their tops were good, too. But there was one dress that I lived in for dinners, which was made by Olian. And I will say that I lived in my Juicy sweatpants… Juicy velour sweatpants. My pregnancy uniform!”
