Maternity jacket options
September 27, 2007

Versatility is the key phrase when shopping for a jacket to fit your pregnant body. You want a jacket that will grow with you throughout your pregnancy, and can be part of your non-maternity wardrobe.
Here are some maternity jacket options to keep in mind:
A buttoned front coat made from stretchy material (such as a sweater coat) will confirm to your growing bump and can be worn post-pregnancy.
A trench coat is a stylish and versatile option to keep you warm. You can tie your coat above your bump while pregnant and around your waist once baby is born.
A swing or cropped jacket is a hip look that is hot with both the pregnant and non-pregnant crowd. You can find jackets that have buttons or that tie in the front—you decide what works best for you. This jacket can be easily transitioned into your non-maternity clothes. Pictured is the Elizabeth Jacket from Liz Lange.
