Gisele Bundchen’s baby bump photoshopped

July 29, 2009

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is expecting her first child with hubby Tom Brady — although you would never suspect she was pregnant by looking at this sexy photo!
SPL116367_003
London Fog CEO Dari Marder admits the photo has been “retouched” to ‘respect her privacy during this wonderful and personal time in her life. Nobody is sexier or more beautiful than Gisele Bundchen in nothing but a London Fog trench coat, even with her visible baby bump. This London Fog campaign features a classic portrait of Gisele in an iconic London Fog trench; it is a very fitting image for this timeless brand. Although Gisele was photographed while pregnant, most of the shots have been retouched to respect her privacy during this wonderful and personal time in her life.”

What do you think? Should they have retouched the photo? I think it would have been cute to see a hint of baby bump in the photo! Although good thing for the strategically placed London Fog banner….

Look for clothes in petite sizes that are designed for your smaller frame, otherwise the clothes will look sloppy and overwhelming. Online stores like bellablumaternity.com and IsabellaOliver.com have sections just for the petite mom-to-be.

Avoid large, bold prints and look for small patterns or prints to prevent you from overwhelming your frame.

Maternity travel tips: Clothes to pack

July 24, 2009

Are you planning a summer vacation, but not sure what to pack now that you are pregnant? Follow our tips to stay looking stylish and feeling comfortable when you are on the go!
gap-maxi dress
Dresses/skirts: When you are traveling, wearing a long, flowing skirt or dress, such as a maxi dress, is a comfortable choice. Jeans can often constrict your belly making you feel uncomfortable after a period of time.

Tops: Wear and pack sleeveless or short sleeved tops to account for those pregnancy-induced hot flashes.

Lightweight jacket: Depending on the climate you are traveling to, it is a good idea to bring along a lightweight jacket or jean jacket to pair with your short sleeved tops.

Shoes: Pack stylish, sensible shoes that will go the distance, such as gladiator sandals or ballet flats. Of course, if you are planning a night out with your man (and don’t plan to do a lot of walking) it wouldn’t hurt to bring a pair ofsexy, strappy heels.

Undergarments: Make sure you pack plenty of underwear that is cut to accomadate for your growing belly. Depending on how far along you are in your pregnancy, you may need to buy larger bras for support and comfort.
